Casey Pennel, PA-C, PMH-C, CAQ-psych

With a desire to help patients feel seen and heard, Casey Pennel, PA-C approaches her role as a certified physician assistant holistically, aiming to help those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, marginalized, or misunderstood. Casey is passionate about helping each patient find relief from their symptoms and achieve their own unique goals. She specializes in treating a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, and women’s health issues (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum, and perinatal disorders).

At Stella Oak Park, Casey provides medication management services with a holistic approach. She works collaboratively with patients to build their own customized treatment plans. Based on patient symptoms, recommended interventional treatment options may include Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray, ketamine-assisted therapy, or medication management. Additional treatments are available at our clinic, Stella Westmont, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or ketamine infusion therapy, or the dual sympathetic reset (DSR) of advanced stellate ganglion blocks (SGB).

In addition to her certification as a psychiatric physician assistant, Casey also earned a certification from Postpartum Support International, enabling her to provide high quality health care to those experiencing pregnancy, prenatal, or postpartum mental health challenges.
