Why choose TMS Solutions? “Witnessing for decades, but not understanding individuals who suffered from depression and other mental illnesses repeatedly try multiple antidepressants and other forms of treatment, only to become more depressed because the treatments didn’t work, is what motivated me to learn everything I could about TMS and start TMS Solutions, Inc. Seeing the lives of those who suffer from debilitating depression transform in six weeks is the very thing that, in the beginning, fueled our battles with insurance companies and Medicare to help over 30,000,000 people in the United States gain access to coverage for TMS. Today, that same fervor drives our belief that everyone deserves access to an affordable and proven effective treatment option – TMS, and it’s why push ourselves each day to advocate for our patients.” Christopher Blackburn FOUNDER

TMS therapy is an advanced medical treatment that works by harnessing the brain's natural ability to adapt and heal, a principle known as neuroplasticity. Using targeted magnetic pulses, we gently stimulate the prefrontal cortex, the brain's mood center, to encourage the regrowth of neural connections. This process helps restore the healthy brain function that can be disrupted by chronic depression. Because it is a localized treatment, it avoids the systemic side effects associated with many antidepressant medications.

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation during your initial consultation will determine if TMS is the right path for your specific diagnosis.
During a TMS session, you will be seated comfortably in a treatment chair. A small magnetic coil will be positioned over a specific area of your head. You will hear a clicking sound and feel a tapping sensation while the machine delivers the magnetic pulses. You can relax, read, or listen to music during the treatment.
While every patient’s experience is different, many begin to notice a gradual improvement in their symptoms, such as increased energy and better sleep, within the first two to four weeks of treatment. The full therapeutic benefits are typically observed after the complete course of sessions.
A referral from a primary care physician or another psychiatrist is helpful but not always required. You can contact our clinic directly to schedule an initial consultation. Our team will gather your medical history and coordinate with your other healthcare providers as needed.
Yes, combining TMS with psychotherapy is highly encouraged. Therapy can help you develop coping skills and process the emotional and behavioral changes that occur as your depression symptoms improve. We can coordinate care with your existing therapist or provide a referral.
